RTB16: Overnight trip to Pubail
ITINERARYThe Pubail Retreat Demarpara, a small fishermen village, symbolizes typical rural Bangladesh and represents the true beauty rural Bangladesh has on offer. This retreat has been built in a way to get the touch of nature, so the authority decorates it with the natural sources and do not destroy with artificial sources. It has representative jungles, wet land, rural pond and cultivatable land. During your visit here you have the opportunity to interact with the local community, learn about their culture as well as their day-to-day life. Special memories of these authentic interactions will be yours to take home.
Day – 01
After breakfast drive to Pubail retreat in Demorpara. It is approximately an hour’s drive. Upon arrival at the retreat you will be welcomed with light drink. Your guide will give you brief information about the local community. You will check into the village cottage for some rest and freshen up. After lunch the guide will take you for a walk into the village for you to have a closer look at the village life in Bangladesh. You will be back to the retreat for dinner and overnight stay.
Day – 02
After breakfast we invite you to watch the fishing, farming and craftsman activities inside the retreat. If you want you may join them as well. Enjoy the freshly prepared traditional lunch. After lunch you will have options for activities like cycling and boating. You may also visit some adjacent villages if you want. After some afternoon tea and snacks you will start your return journey back to Dhaka, arriving early on the evening.
